Why he founded CustomerSense. 

In 2000 Benjamin Gundgaard co-founded BuyingExperience, one of Scandinavia's first pure E-commerce consultancy companies. Back then, his dream was to build E-commerce websites that were easy and pleasant to use.

The positive spiral

He quickly realized that E-commerce companies could vastly increase their revenue (based on higher customer conversion- and retention rates) and he thus decided to base his future professional life on a positive spiral: Happy customers buy more. This helps the E-commerce companies make more money, which essentially pays his salary. All parties in this spiral are happy.

100% independency
In 2004 Benjamin Gundgaard founded CustomerSense, as he wanted to create a 100% independent E-commerce consultancy company.

Due to this, CustomerSense advices on how to build the best possible buying experiences, but does not build the technical solution. CustomerSense, however, collaborates with the client's technical department or external vendors to get the most out of the client's technical platform. In this way, you can trust that CustomerSense focuses on how to help you sell more and not on how to sell expensive technology to you.

During 2008 TUI Nordic carried out an extensive work redesigning our entire booking flow. The focus was of course to reach an outstanding level of usability in order to increase our conversion rate.
